Our Story: The Heart Behind Luxe Aesthetics + Wellness
Every business has a story.
Ours starts with two nurses who shared a passion for helping people and a dream of creating something different.
Hi! We're Leticia Buswell, FNP-C and Emily Cornella, FNP-C, co-founders of Luxe Aesthetics & Wellness.
Long before Luxe existed, we both spent years caring for patients as registered nurses. Although our paths looked a little different, we shared the same belief: healthcare should be personal, compassionate, and centered around helping people feel their very best.
As we discovered aesthetic medicine, we quickly realized it was about so much more than beauty. It was about confidence. It was about restoring what time, stress, and life can slowly take away. It was about helping people feel like themselves again.
We fell in love with the combination of medicine, science, artistry, and meaningful patient relationships.
That passion eventually led us to become clinical trainers for one of the leading aesthetic device companies. We have the privilege of traveling across the country, educating providers on advanced technologies, learning from some of the industry's best, and seeing firsthand what exceptional patient care could look like.
But throughout those experiences, one dream kept growing.
We wanted to create a place where patients never felt rushed or pressured. A place where education came before treatment, where honest recommendations mattered more than sales, and where every person who walked through our doors felt genuinely cared for.
So, while raising families, working full-time, traveling, and training providers, we took a leap of faith.
We purchased a building in the heart of Cañon City and renovated it, pouring countless evenings, weekends, and long days into creating the space we had envisioned. There were moments of excitement, moments of exhaustion, and moments when we wondered if we could really pull it off, but we believed in what we were building.
And that's how Luxe Aesthetics & Wellness was born.
Since opening our doors, we've continued to grow right alongside our patients. What began as a dream has become a thriving medical aesthetics and wellness practice offering advanced aesthetic treatments, hormone optimization, weight management, medical-grade skincare, laser technologies, and wellness services.
Along the way, we both continued our education and earned our board certifications as Family Nurse Practitioners. Becoming FNPs has strengthened our ability to care for our patients with a deeper understanding of whole-body health while staying true to the personalized care that has always been at the heart of Luxe.
Our philosophy has never changed.
We believe aesthetic medicine should enhance, not change who you are.
We believe wellness starts from within.
We believe every treatment should have a purpose, every recommendation should be honest, and every patient deserves to feel heard.
